| Croatia Belfast Food with live concert in the end of January in Osijek. Belfast Food are giving live concert on January 30th in Osijek. The event is to take place in Mini Teatr ( Mini Theater). To get more information about the tickets contact the Theater. The three young men who gathered the today’s BELFAST FOOD started their work in 1992. Mostly influenced by “THE CHIEFTAINS” and “THE DUBLINERS”, they also played the instrumental music of legendary folk groups The Bothy Band, Planxty, and De Dannan. This music is traditional dance music dating from the eighteenth century and is played fast and furious. Presently, the band is producing live CD and DVD album recorded during St. Patrick’s Day celebration in 2007. ... Read more | Poland Shannon has already planned concerts in March! 
Shannon- the Celtic Shannon band- one of the most known Irish and Celtic music bands in Poland has already planned concert during St. Patrick's celebrations. The band has announced 6 concerts in this period. Shannon band was born in early 1994. They have so far recorded five albums, one soundtrack and also composed some music for an Irish dance show. Shannon perform in about a hundred concerts every year mainly in Europe. Shannon have also taken part in celebrations of the Interceltique Festival du Lorient in Britany (France) as well as often performing in Denmark and Germany. Shannon on occasion have also played with other famous musicians, one of them being Polish jazz violinist - Michal Urbaniak. Thanks to a mix of traditional sounds and modern composition,they offer a great sound.

Irish basketball players are with clubs in Cyprus, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Germany, Greece, italy, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Switzerland and Sweden. Wherever you are in Europe - there is a good chance that an Irish basketball player is playing with a club in the country you are in. As well as playing in top flight basketball Nationally in these countries, Brian Bracey's AEL in Cyprus are also in the Euro Challenge, against other European clubs, Levon Kendall is with Greece Euroleague team Marousi. In Italy the Serie A club Banca Terrcas with Jesse Young also plays in the EuroCup as well as SerieA this year. Patrick Burke is in Poland with Euroleague team Assec.Prokom, which is also heading the local Polish PLK league. Jim Moran's Gran Canaria are playing in Europe this year in the Euro Cup.
